Modern Cosmology from Ventura County In-Person
Director of Thacher Observatory Dr. Jonathan Swift will educate on the study of cosmology, which is the study of the birth, evolution and ultimate fate of the Universe. We invite you to participate in this presentation on our most current ideas about the cosmos, including their shortcomings, and learn about how we seek to contribute to our understanding of cosmology using inspiring images from state-of-the-art facilities and the Thacher Observatory alike.
